In an environment where I should have felt more at home than ever before, I was as far away as I ever have been.
I was still the odd one out, and never more aware of it.
Every now and then people fuck up. Not me, I do it all the time.

Once again that is your perception. If you actually spoke to the other ladies there I am sure others also felt like the odd one out too! They were there to support the fund raising not to “fit in”
