Face To Face……..

After four or five weeks of riding a Chemical Roller Coaster and accumulating a pile of Scripts from the Dr. that is similar in size to the first volume of Marcel Proust’s masterpiece, tomorrow will see me heading into Perth.

I have a meeting booked at the office, and reflecting on it now, I think it is almost like recreating Suzanne’s first tentative steps into the office around a year ago.

This time however I will not be hiding behind any available cover, and praying for the working day to end.

Concealment is not required. There will be a powerful Orange glow accompanying me. But Don’t Panic !!!! , I haven’t changed my foundation……

This is invisible Orange glow that represents my confidence. My confidence will fill the spaces where I am. It will touch those in my presence, and in that moment they will recognise that Suzanne has found her voice, and she is not afraid to use it.

Suzanne may not yet be ready to Roar, but she is more than ready to be proud of who she is, and the challenges she has overcome. Nietzsche was on to something when he postulated that “That which does not kill you, makes you stronger.”

Your comment about not being ready to roar brought to mind the Helen Reddy song that starts “I am woman, hear me roar” (1971 so you probably don’t remember it) – an uplifting anthemic song that I now can’t get out of my head! Wishing you well for tomorrow – it sounds like you have it under control

You go girl! I had a little crisis of confidence recently and a long talk with my boss and my wife really helped me recognise where that was coming from. Apart from my HRT I won’t take drugs for anxiety or depression, I find it just as you described, a roller coaster. My new positive message for you “If you put the right women in the right space, magic will happen.” I intend to be that woman.
