Girl Scout

Although I am told it can be six to eight weeks before the full effects of my Anti Depressant medication can be felt, I am compelled to report significant improvements after just a couple of weeks.

Last night over an Orange Juice and a chat with our good friends, Denise, looked me straight in the eye, smiled warmly and said “Welcome Back !Its good to see you again.”

There has been a very real change, and I’m excited to see it continue. The Darkness that descended last year has started to lift and clarity is beginning to return.

It has not been plain sailing, odd side effects have caused some discomfort. The random Nausea is not very pleasant. Stranger still is the weird sensation of uncontrollable shivering and teeth chattering that hits me after yawning. It doesn’t last long but its disconcerting and a decidedly odd sensation.

Jane of course continues to be an absolute legend. With just the right amount of tough love from my incredibly patient wife, we are making progress in leaps and bounds. The Lego remains melted, but between us we are building something much rarer…..

In other news my voice therapist continues to bring me great joy, despite emptying my bank account at a prodigious rate, I find there is real value in our sessions. I don’t think I have ever met another person who exudes compassion and enthusiasm in such huge quantities.

I had a dream about Lego! A Lego shop! Where it was $2k a year to become a member. (Worth it)

So pleased to read this update xx
