For the last seven days Jane and I have been in Melbourne.
Melbourne is a diverse, and often beautiful City. It is busy, has a European feel, and is probably one of the most remarkable places to go for a really good “Shop” that I have ever visited.
Over the last week, we have attended concerts, lectures, galleries, exhibitions, and of course we have shopped. We have eaten too much, drunk even more and walked further than my feet really wanted.
On reflection, what we saw, ate, drank, listened to, and visited in Melbourne seems far less important now, than the people we met.
We spent time with some incredible people, some of whom, were largely unknown to us a week ago, but in whose company we discovered joy and harmony, Inspiration and hope.
There is much to write about, that I can draw from our experiences in Melbourne, and I will cover these over the next few days, from the brightest joy and intense laughter , through to the darkest moments wrestling with my desire to finish my journey there and then….
